Today was a travel day through the beautiful rolling hills of Pennsylvania. The colors were outstanding on the trees as we drove by. At noon we stopped in Lewisburg located in central Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna River Valley. The city is on the National Register of Historic Places. The buildings that still exist are representatives of every historic style. The city layout developed in colonial Pennsylvania so many historians call it “Pennsylvania Town.” We just so happened to arrive during the Fall Festival in Hufnagle Park. Food and craft vendors were set up for us to browse and maybe even purchase something. After lunch we continued to Solon, Ohio, located in the Cleveland suburbs.
This blog was first started in 2012 to keep family and friends informed on our 35th wedding anniversary travel. I have decided to use it as a travel blog to remember some of the fun places my husband and I have been to.
